With a new product line of smart sensors and a complete identification and marking portfolio for seamless traceability, Datalogic will showcase how companies can benefit from automation solutions at SPS in Nuremberg from November 26th to 28th

In hall 7A on stand 110 visitors will have the opportunity to experience live the interaction of sensors and safety scanners, machine vision systems for controlling, as well as laser markers and bar code scanners for identification through various product demonstrations.

To enable customers to integrate digital automation solutions in industry 4.0 environments, Datalogic has recently announced new innovative products within their machine vision, sensor and identification portfolios. As the first member of the new smart sensor series, the S5N series with IO-Link V1.1 and smart sensor profile, has recently been launched. The tubular sensors combine all IO-Link standard sensor and actuator connections with the advantages of OPC UA technology and fieldbus interfaces such as Ethernet, IP, Profinet and Modbus. It allows multiple technologies to be used simultaneously and eliminates the need for another PLC to monitor and control a system, saving both hardware and software costs.

The vision systems portfolio has been enhanced further with the introduction of the latest industrial vision processor. The new MX-E90 combines up to eight GigE cameras simultaneously and simplifying integration, set-up and maintenance. This means space, power, cables, and I / O blocks are reduced automatically. Combined with the easy-to-use IMPACT software, users are now able to quickly and easily build a machine vision-based control system.

In order to safely and quickly solve the identification task along the production line, Datalogic has developed the new high-performance Matrix 300N imager. Equipped with a 2 megapixel sensor, it captures 1D and 2D codes as well as DPM marks on different surfaces. Even low-contrast codes are easily read. To help users respond quickly to production line changes, the imager features liquid lens technology that provides automatic focus adjustment.

Datalogic’s trade show presence is complemented by robust industrial hand-held scanners, mobile computers, tablets and vehicle terminals that guide users through the control, inspection and tracking of parts and products from warehouse to production and vice versa.
