Ineltek UK, the UK and Ireland arm of Germany’s largest independent semiconductor distributor announces the release of the Premo 2D1D15 antenna series with dual functionality for both Low Frequency (125 kHz) and NFC High Frequency applications (13.56MHz) all in one package.
Premo’s 2D1D15 Series provides 2D orthogonal coils designed at the standard 125kHz LF frequency and a third orthogonal coil to operate at the standard 13.56MHz. This innovative and extremely compact antenna has a high surface resistance NiZn ferrite core material (>10Mohm/mm) and medium initial permeability to work at high and low frequency. Providing very stable performance from -40C to +85C, the 2D1D15 Series is available with 4.77mH @125 kHz and 6uH @13.56 MHz standard inductance.

The inductance and “Q” factor of the NFC coil has been measured at 13.56MHz and is suitable for RFID applications with ISO15693 (vicinity: I-CODE) and ISO 14443 (proximity: MIFARE) interfaces.
