Double Forum first for Motiv8 |

This week Motiv8 ticked another box for firsts, that being we completed 2 Forums on the same day!.

Tuesday this week Motiv8 ran suppler review days inside both Jaguar Land Rover & Ford UK’s Engineering / R&D areas. With 12 suppliers at JLR and 25 suppliers at Ford this was not only a very busy day for Team Motiv8, but 2 amazing Forums for the 37 suppliers involved.

The JLR Forum ran inside building 523 at Gaydon, but was attended by JLR staff from across the vast site, with standing room only in some of the supporting presentations, with one having to be re-run again due to interest levels.

Supplier feedback during and after the Forum included “This is the best Forum we have done with you” – “Thanks for another brilliant Forum” – “Delighted with volume and quality of people we have met”

The Ford Forum ran inside the Dunton Technical Centre and was attended by staff from across the Engineering and Purchasing teams with brilliant attendance constantly across the day, the 5 supporting presentations all proved very popular and fruitful for the hosting companies.

Supplier feedback during and after the Forum included, one new supplier for whom this was their first Forum were so impressed that by 10.30 they came to us and asked how book another Forum we have coming up, which they did there and then!. Additionally “We have been trying to get in to Ford for close to 3 years now, we have achieved it and reached some key people before lunch thanks to you” – “We spend so much money on exhibtions and get very little from them, I can see why these days work so well, we are really impressed” – “Brilliant day, thanks.”
